Abbey Hulett, LAC, LAMFT

Abbey Hulett has spent years doing other jobs, volunteering, or being a stay-at-home mom while always deferring to the thing she loves most: helping people sift through and take on life’s challenges. In order to do that well and match work with her purpose, she attended John Brown University & became a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LAMFT) and Professional Counselor (LAC) in 2024. With a special interest in the power and pull of family, she works with clients including school-aged children, teens, families, couples, and individuals.

Abbey has been trained in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples, and families. She believes that understanding each person’s ways of coping with life’s hurts and difficulties is vital to understanding how we may reconnect with ourselves, loved ones, and change the things which keep us stuck. Unresolved matters of the heart are often more life-consuming than we realize, and Abbey works alongside her clients to bravely address the burdens they carry. She is energized when spending time with clients…a time to pause the distractions of our modern-day lives and breathe new life into confusing & exhausted places.

When not at work Abbey enjoys international travel (when possible), hiking & camping, gardening, and cooking really tasty food from scratch (when possible). She loves sunshine, a good board game, and recently discovered that a day on the lake is really good food for the soul!
