Stephanie Maass, LAC

Stephanie is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from John Brown University. She works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, parenting dynamics, major life transitions, and the stress of everyday life.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and compassionate. Drawing from attachment theory and humanistic theory, Stephanie helps clients feel heard, empowered, and hopeful while fostering deeper connections with themselves and with others.

Stephanie considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they intentionally pursue personal growth and healing. She believes those who engage in the counseling process are courageous. Her approach seeks to honor each client’s attachment experiences, relationships, strengths, and needs. She views the counseling relationship as a safe and supportive space to explore all emotions, gain insight into personal experiences, and improve overall mental health and quality of life.

Stephanie has been married for over 32 years and has raised five strong daughters. She has served the Northwest Arkansas community through nonprofit work for more than 24 years. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys laughing with family & friends, exercising, traveling, reading, and watching UCLA basketball. Go Bruins!
